Solace Garage
about.
Solace Garage is an ongoing personal project that explores the intersection of driving, emotion, and self-expression through apparel. Inspired by the deep sense of peace found behind the wheel, the brand reimagines automotive culture as a form of personal solace. I developed the entire brand identity—from the logo and visual system to apparel graphics and packaging—using bold typography, cinematic storytelling, and references from car and streetwear culture. Every design aims to capture the quiet moments on the road that make driving more than just a commute—it’s a form of therapy, reflection, and freedom.

One of the key challenges in developing Solace Garage was creating a bold typographic logo that captured both the sense of motion and the brand’s dark, edgy aesthetic. I wanted the logo to feel fast, sharp, and intentional—something that visually echoed the emotional experience of driving. This required extensive research, exploring references from motorsport, streetwear, and graphic subcultures. Through multiple iterations and refinement, I arrived at a final design that felt dynamic, distinctive, and aligned with the brand’s identity.

Although Solace Garage has yet to officially launch, the project has laid a strong creative foundation for the brand. The logo, visual identity, and first apparel collection are fully developed and production-ready. Through this process, I’ve established a clear direction for the brand’s tone, aesthetic, and storytelling approach. The focus has now shifted to producing supporting marketing assets. This includes content creation for social media, product photography, and promotional materials—all designed to communicate the brand’s story and connect with its audience. The project is steadily moving toward a full launch with a clear visual direction and purpose.
