I worked alongside a senior designer to help rebrand Glimmr, a haircare brand powered by superfood ingredients. Together, we developed a refreshed visual identity, including updated brand guidelines, logo refinement, and supporting design elements. My role also involved creating mockups to demonstrate how the new branding would come to life across packaging, digital platforms, and marketing materials—ensuring the new identity felt cohesive, modern, and aligned with Glimmr’s evolving tone and audience.

One of the main challenges in this project was navigating unclear briefs and inconsistent communication from the client, which caused delays and made it difficult to start with clear direction. Misalignments early on highlighted the importance of structured planning and more consistent feedback loops. Moving forward, establishing clearer processes and expectations from the outset will be key to ensuring smoother collaboration and more efficient project outcomes.
result.
Despite early communication challenges, we successfully developed the brand identity, logo system, and mockups for client approval. The visual direction was well received and aligned with the brand’s goals. However, due to delays stemming from unclear communication and shifting timelines, the project surpassed the original deadline, and the branding was not implemented into live products. The experience underscored the importance of clear planning and client alignment in ensuring smooth execution for future projects.
