about.
Pyng is a fintech company reimagining payments—offering a seamless way to pay with zero surcharges. As part of their rebrand, I was brought in to help translate their bold new visual identity into an engaging web experience. With vibrant colours, saturated imagery, and a playful tone, Pyng’s refreshed look is all about being fun and approachable. Working alongside the studio team, I designed both desktop and mobile website concepts that stayed true to these values. Every layout, element, and interaction was crafted to reflect the energy of the brand while ensuring clarity and ease of use across devices.
challenge.
One of the main challenges in this project was balancing creative layout exploration with strict adherence to the brand guidelines. Pyng’s rebrand featured bold colours and expressive imagery, which required careful consideration in structuring the layout to avoid overwhelming the user. Staying aligned with the brand’s fun and approachable tone—without drifting too far from the established identity—was a key focus. Through ongoing discussions and constructive feedback on initial concepts, I was able to refine the designs into a cohesive final version that captured both visual energy and usability.
result.
The final UI and mobile concepts were successfully delivered, aligning closely with the updated brand guidelines and design objectives. While the website has not yet launched publicly, the completed designs provide a strong foundation for development—capturing the brand’s vibrant, approachable tone through clear layouts and responsive design. Feedback from the studio and client helped refine the visual direction, ensuring the product is ready for the next stage of implementation.
